Team 06
Our team represents six countries, five time zones, and a wide range of levels of experience.
When we formed, we were a group of strangers - now we are a working team!
Problem Statement:
Secureclaim insurance still relies on manual, paper-based processes for managing customer claims, leading to delays, inefficiencies, and poor customer experience. The absence of digital automation and real-time tracking causes operational bottlenecks, data errors, and limited visibility into claim progress—ultimately reducing customer satisfaction and staff productivity.
Solution
To address the inefficiencies and frustrations caused by the manual, paper-based claims process, the proposed solution is to develop a digital insurance claims platform that streamlines claim submission, tracking, and management.
The platform will enable customers to submit claims online, upload supporting documents (such as images and receipts), and receive real-time status updates, eliminating the need for physical visits and follow-up calls.
For internal staff, the system will provide an intuitive dashboard to manage, review, and update claims efficiently. This digital solution will reduce manual data entry, minimize errors, and improve overall transparency and accountability throughout the claims lifecycle.
By automating key processes and improving communication between customers and claims officers, the platform will enhance operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and data-driven decision-making within the organization.

Kanban (Agile)
The Team used a Kanban board to effectively track project deliverables — identifying tasks that were completed, in progress, and pending.
The board provided clarity on task ownership and visibility into the status of each activity, enabling me to monitor progress and ensure deliverables were aligned with the project phases.
This approach improved transparency, collaboration, and timely execution across the team.

A strong User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plan ensures that the final product meets real-world business needs before it goes live. It helps teams validate functionality from the end-user’s perspective, catching gaps that technical testing might miss. A clear UAT strategy aligns stakeholders, defines success criteria, and streamlines defect tracking and resolution. It also builds confidence across business and development teams by confirming that the solution performs as intended in practical scenarios. Ultimately, it reduces post-launch surprises and strengthens delivery credibility.
